Rules Briefing 10 a.m.
Lifting Begins 11 a.m.

Eligibility: This event is open to all A.P.A. members, as well as nonmembers.

Members must present their membership card or register to become a member prior to weigh-in. Lifters will be allowed to register at the meet site. Registration is $30/year. Only Louisiana residents will be allowed to break Louisiana records.

Nonmembers will follow the rules of the APA, but will not be eligible to break records.

Deadline: The deadline for submitting $45 with the meet registration form is Monday, December 22, 2008.

Brief Rules: A t-shirt or bench shirt may be worn with sleeves that do not cover the elbow, and the shirt must be tucked into spandex bike shorts or a one piece lifting suit. View a complete rulebook.

Awards: Schwartz and Malone formulas will determine the top three places, as well as Best Lifter, for raw and equipped divisions.
